About our home
We fell in love with this sixties bungalow and the neighbourhood and are happy to share this paradise with you!
We bought the house in 2016 and completely renewed the house and garden.
The bungalow is located in the back, away from the street.
The bungalow is completely ground floor, very spacious and has a lot of incidence of light. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed and 1 children room with a single bed and a babybed. There is a bathroom with rain shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a library, a desk, a fireplace and a very bright living room.
The garden is 16 are and has a front garden and a back garden with several sets of garden furniture and lounge areas, a petanque court, a huge trampoline and a play house with sandbox for children.
The location is just perfect: less then 2 km from the city center and in a very green and quiet environment. You can use bikes and park your car for free on the driveway!

Hello! I am Charlotte, married with Kevin and we have two little boys: Bob (4) and Charlie (2). We love traveling, Leuven, friends, snowboarding, surf culture, interior, relaxing with nice food and drinks, a party once in a while, meeting people from all over the world.

I work as a marketing manager for a selective Belgian newspaper, Kevin is a sales represent in construction.

We really love architecture and interior design. We were instantly in love with our sixties bungalow and worked really hard to renew it. But we are so happy here and love to share it with you.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
This is a very quiet and green environment less then 2 km (or 7 minutes by bike) away from the city center of Leuven and only 20 minutes from Brussels! Here you hear birds, breath nature, feel green and can't believe you are so close to the city center. It is the perfect spot to visit Brussels and Leuven, go for a bike ride or a walk, sleep quiet and enjoy nature, the sun, apero's and bbq in our garden.
The bungalow is located in in Kessel-Lo, a borough of Leuven. Gorgeous sites such as Vlierbeek abbey and some woods and parks are within walking distance. Leuven is reputed for its beer, its university, its young population and its splendid town hall. But it's also an ideal starting point for trips to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels.
Here are also many walking and bike tracks. And mountainbike startpoint very nearby.
The house is nearby:
- only 7 minutes by bike to the the city center / train station
- only 8 minutes by foot from Provinciaal Domein where you can swim in summer, rent a pedalo, play tennis or minigolf, feed ducks or donkeys,...
- only 2 minutes by foot from Brasserie de Rozenkrans where you can taste Belgian beers or eat a good spaghetti or croque monsieur.
- only 2 minutes by foot from the famous and beautiful abbey and park from Vlierbeek
- only 8 minutes by foot form a big supermarket Delhaize
- only 5 minutes by foot from bus stop, bus to the city center every 15 minutes!
- loads of delivery possibilities: sushi, pizza, kebab,... Deliveroo!
