About our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a new kitchen with a nice dining room. The livingroom overlooks a beautiful garden that is private with a little pond and flowers. In the veranda it's nice to stay in the summer. We love spending time in our home and having friends over, it is warm and inviting.

We are Nicole and Yves, a married couple with two girls (Helen 15 y. and Lauren 12 y). I am a graphic desinger and my husband is an engineer. We enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have just experienced our first home exchange and are keen to try the second It 's a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.

Neighbourhood

Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to the cities Gent and Brussels in around an hour and the tourist attraction of Brugge in similar time.

Antwerp is very near (10 min.) and is a very beautiful historic place. It's the capitol of diamands and famous for his fashion and design. Shopping is amazing. From our house you've got access to many museums, monuments, restaurants, theaters. (visit http://www.visitantwerpen.be) It's also easy to visite the Netherlands, Germany, France our even England. Mortsel is a peaceful town. It is quiet and friendly with lots of possibilities.
Our house is near shopping streets, nice restaurants, not far from beautiful green parks, with lots of possibilities to walk, bike, swim...
