About our home

Our charming manor house (550 m²) is 400 years old and is a listed property with amazing old features. It is situated on 12.3 acres of land with a very small river. Our valley is in the middle of a tiny village in the Deep Condroz, the most beautiful region in Belgium in the Province of Namur.
The whole property has undergone a complete eco-renovation to a very high standard (100 % natural materials, solar panels). New kitchen with Boretti stove, granite countertops, dining room with fireplace and upright piano, living room with 2 fireplaces, LED TV, library and a restored grand piano from 1831,
2nd floor master-bedroom with dressing and bathroom, 1 kid's bedroom, a guestroom with bathroom, office,
3rd floor 3 huge children's rooms, 1 bathroom with jaccuzi bath and shower, a play area for children with books, toys, television/DVD and Kinect.
There is plenty of space inside and outside and on 3 different terraces with beautiful views.
A housekeeper comes during the week and takes care of our horses, 2 St Bernards and 2 cats when we are not here. Our car a BMW and 7 bikes could be at your disposal.
Our village is 30 min from Namur, 45 min from Brussels, the heart of Europe, 15 min from Dinant (Adolphe Sax - inventer of the Saxophone, museum and many festivals) and 2 hours from the Belgian coast. There are a lot of castles, the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, fruit and vegetable markets, festivals, old farms, scenic landscape, hiking, Modave Castle, Durby Adventures, Cave of Han (Grottes de, Durbuy (the smallest and quaintest town in the world), kayaking on the Lesse river, free entrance (with our car) to Domaine de Chevetogne nature&water fun (the biggest playground in Belgium), and of course the citadel of Namur, boat trips (Namourettes), and Maastricht (Netherlands), Cologne (Germany) 1 to 2 hours drive not far away.
We have 4 very nice ponys (3 large sizes and one bigger than Shetland) for horseback riding.
