About our home

The building is a beautiful turn of the century house (340sqm) on 4 levels with a small garden and an additional terrace.

On the ground floor you'll find the living and dining area with kitchen and the garden facing east. The first floor features a big sleeping room with king size bed, walk-in cupboard (a whole room) and bathroom (tub and shower) with small balcony; wc and washing machine in a separate room annex. Two very bright working rooms with terrace are located on the 2nd floor. Both have huge windows with Italian blinds to keep light out during summer. Another big room is on the 3rd floor which sleeps one or two; it has its own bathroom. This room is not well suited for small children as the staircase is steep!
All rooms have high ceilings and the feel of the house is arty, spacious and cozy but not loaded. I cannot say it is completely quiet. There is traffic mostly during rush hour, but being rather sensitive myself, this has not been a major problem. (I just want to be honest about that if visitors expect tranquility).

The area is very well connected to the center of Brussels (10 min Metro), the beautiful neighborhoods Châtelain and Place Brugmann by feet (+/- 10 min) and the South train station (10 min Metro).

Paris by the way, is only 1.20 hours from Brussels. In St.Gilles, the arty neighborhood, you can find many cafés and delicious restaurants. There are also 2 parks in very close walking distance if you want to enjoy a bit of nature or do some jogging.

Duchesse, my lovely cat might stay if guests would agree to take very good care of her. Otherwise I would find a different solution.
