About our home

Welcome to our top floor nest (85mq): enjoy stunning views over the city (and its sunsets) from an original Art Deco apartment.
Our home is exceptionally quiet, bathed in light and filled with things we love.
It features a double living-room/dining-room space (35mq) with solid oak floors from the 1930s, an original Art Nouveau wild cherry wood buffet, two sofas and floor cushions, a solid glass and mirror table for eating and working and some artwork from Belgian painter Verheyen and contemporary calligraphy master Hassan Massoudy. The space has a large window and a balcony overlooking the city and its beautiful sunsets.
The hall is furnished as a library with books in several languages, many art books, children books and guidebooks on Brussels.
The kitchen and bathroom have original Art Deco tiles.
The kitchen is fully equipped (gas cooker, electric oven, moka and French press coffee machines) and has a table where 2-3 people can eat. There is an off laudry space with a washing machine.
The bathroom has a shower and bathtub and a small balcony.
The bedroom has a sleeping space and dressing space with a small working table. It's furnished with original Japanese chests of drawers from the 19th century.

There are two lively parks around the corner from the home, Wiels contemporary Art Centre is just down the road, great restaurants and bars are just 10 min away on foot.
The Midi station is 15 min by public transport. With heavy luggage/bad weather it's a 5 min taxi ride for 8 euro.
