One bedroom apartment in a ocean front pousada in Ilha Grande, (www.pousadaalfa.com.br) an ecological paradise island in the bay of Angra dos Reis, 100 miles from Rio de Janeiro. The island has been elected and the second of Rio de Janeiro seven wonders. It has 106 white sand beaches, clear blue water lagoons, challenging trails and a friendly native population. It allows no cars, has no banks and no cash machines.
