About our home

Decorated in typical Brazilian style with marble floors spacious leather and cane furniture and taste fully decorated with works of art and indoor plants, the owner, my girlfriend is an interior decorator. The building had manned 24 hour security and parking as well as a deckchair service to the beach. Maids will come to clean once a week at no cost to Exchangers. Give them a few Reais(Brasilian $)and they will probably be happy to your laundry for you and run errands/do shopping. The lounge and dining room has a huge 12 metre glass window vista looking out over the bay and tropical islands.

I am a 55 year old Australian psychologist who feels the need to flee my country regularly to save my sanity and escape from my very demanding work. I do this by regularly meeting up with my beautiful Brasilian girlfriend (who lives in Brasil) and travelling to some of the most beautiful places on the planet. My girlfriend is a professional decorator, has adult children and lives in Sao Paulo, Brasil's largest city. We are both physically active with a humanitarian/spiritual engagement and perspective on life.

Situated right on a great surfing/swimming beach on Brazil's famous Costa Verde(some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!), the Brazilian beach culture is like no other! You can spend the whole day there and beach vendors will bring you anything you want - from caipirinhos(Brazil's national stress reducing cocktail = local cachassa crushed with fresh limes and Ice), freshly grilled Shrimp, steamed buttered corn and of course, cocada made from freshly grated coconuts. The Brazilians are famous for their laid back nature and pride themselves on being very friendly and accommodating.
