About our home

This house means a lot to me. My father lived here when he was younger and I just come to live here later. I'm living here five years thou, but this apartment is in our family since 1970. I love living here, and I love my home. This year I redecorated the entire apartment and arranged every detail as I would like. It is a house of students, live here me and my younger sister, but the apartment was planned to receive my parents who visit me often, so it is much more than a simple house of young people. The building is old, but it makes me feel welcomed upon arrival. The street is heavily forested, it looks beautiful on sunny days. I'm sure you'll feel like home here!

More about us

  1. I am a student of media and advertising and I will graduate this year. I left home at age 17 to study and since I live alone. I am passionate about cats, I have two in my flat and 3 more that I rescued from the streets and today they live in my parents' house. Whenever I can I try to rescue an animal from the street, I am against the trade in animals. I consider myself a calm person, respectful and with a good heart. I love having people in my house, I inherited the gift of hospitality of my parents. As a family we are a very united family whenever we are gathered and there is nothing better than a barbecue to gather all family. We love to travel but we have not had the opportunity to travel to another continent. Always we prefer to travel together because it is the time when we can enjoy the family.

Where is it?

My neighborhood is called "Bom Fim", is known as a symbol of Jewish settlement in Porto Alegre. Saturday and Sunday is a bucolic neighborhood with country feelings. During the week, it is fast neighborhood in his long, broad avenue Oswaldo Aranha. Frequented by workers, intellectuals and members of alternative movements and counterculture, the atmosphere of the neighborhood is bustling and diverse. In it or around it lie universities, schools, chapels, synagogues. A few blocks away from the apartment you'll find the Gonçalo de Carvalho street considered the most beautiful street in the world and historical heritage of the city.
