About our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a large living room with adjoining office, bookshelves. The apartment has been recently renovated with large bathroom and powerful shower.

Bedroom and living room overlook the street with large windows. We have a/c (Rio can be very hot!) and a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include high-speed internet and cable, tv, dvd and soundsystem.

More about us

We are a young (mid 30ies) couple with no kids and lots of hobbies. We work in academia (my husband teaches and I run the office of an Ivy League US University in Rio). We lived abroad and we love traveling, cultivating international friends and findind new movies/ tv series and other things to do. We love cinema, going out and going to the beach, although we really enjoy staying at home (and we particularly love ours!). Plus, we both love cooking.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Lively and convenient location next to the subway station (Botafogo), a lot of stores, restaurants, cafés and bars. This is the cinephile neighbourhood with 3 theatres in a few blocks, 10 minutes do a mall, and just accross the street from a grocery store. Farmers market every saturday two blocks away, and a number of stores (bank, drug stores, department stores) in a 5 minute walking distance.
