About our home

My house is very comfortable.. Main house with 4 suites with big bathrooms ... A white corian modern kitchen - fully equiped. A big pool (20 meters) with an outside kitchen with barbecue , pizzaoven and a table for 16 people. This is a house to enjoy with family and friends. There is a big living room, a diningroom and a tv room with cable tv (sky)- all very spacious and comfortable. There is also a Guest house with 1 big suite with a big bathroom, tv room and a kitchen. I have staff to take care of everything ..they work full time for me so they are included - Great house keeper and cook ..don´t have to worry about anything..

More about us

My name is Helena and I'm Swedish and live in Brazil for over 20 years. Im in my forties . I'm a business woman/artist - I work with real estate and hotel development but love art and painting. I want to travel with my two sons 23 and 11 years old.. and maybe with some friend or my boyfriend - depends of agendas. I have done some exchanges and was very happy with the experience.. I like the idea of living in someones house instead of a neutral hotelroom. I will be happy to swift homes all over the world.
You will be well taken care of by the nice and friendly staff that works for me (for many years). Its a very happy and loving environment.

Where is it?

I live in a charming village in Bahia, Brazil, called Trancoso. This place has one of the best climats in the world with warm summers and mild winters..if you can call it a winter ..its like northen Europes summers.. This village is just by the sea and is a very popular place to visit both by Brazilians and foreigners. My house is locatesd up in the village - close to the historical square - seven minutes walking distance to center.
My house is located in a very calm and charming neighbourhood with mostly big properties.
The house is fifteen minutes walk to the sea... Its a wonderful place to relax and enjoy contact with nature, see capoeira , eat good food in one of the charming restaurants and to enjoy the calm and beautiful beach.

Trancoso beaches are known for being one of the best beaches of Brazil. There are also several small villages that you can visit in your stay, such as Arraial dÁjuda, Espelho and Caraiva (with nearby indian reservation) They are all aprox. one hour away by car .

You will arrive at Porto Seguro airport - the town were Brazil once was descovered by the portuguese year 1500. A nice town but not with the sofistication of Trancoso. Trancoso is aprox. 1 hour away from airport/Porto Seguro. If you like golf - there is one of Brazils best golf courses just half an hour away in called Terra vista.
