My home is a very comfortable and cool house, quite new, located near the famous Quadrado, in Trancoso, Bahia, and ten minutes walk from the beach. It is a two blocks house, with the living and dining room and the kitchen in the first one, a lovely terrace with sofas and hamacks viewing the garden. The very quiet rooms are located on the other side of the garden, and there are two bedroons (a/c) with a bahtroom and principal suite ( a/c) around a cozy patio (a kind of square).At the top I have my studio and terrace overviewing the roofs of the town and by night you can enjoy the most starlish" sky of Brasil! “We stayed in Marta's place for 10 days in Jan'12. Really cozy, nice decoration, different spaces that ensured every one could have their own privacy. Her housekeeper, Ana, is a dream. Cooked for us and help a lot keeping the house clean and under control. The town, Trancoso, is very beautiful, with many different restaurants and handicraft stores. Prices are expensive since the town has become a touristic center for the cool society.”
I am a Brazilian textile artist, from Sâo Paulo, living in Trancoso. I have an atelier / shop .at the Quadrado I choosed living in Trancoso for the quality of life, the special inspiration of the exuberant nature around, and for the personal relations from peoples of this little town. I just love here and I'm sure you will love it too.
Trancoso is a little town famous for the beauty of the beaches, the hospitality of the people and the style life located in the south of Bahia. There are a lot of good restaurants with diferent kind of food, international and tipical, shopping, ateliers of local artists and a special nightlife with "forro dance" and others. For those who enjoy sports and walking there are many options too. Relax and nature are the best atraction.
