About our home

Antler Lodge (it's our affectionate tongue-in-cheek name; we have no Downton Abbey illusions!) was built for hanging out. The main floor, with the open plan kitchen, living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and library tends to be where your tribe will want to gather -- and onto the covered porches that surround it. Peace and quiet can be enjoyed in the four bedrooms upstairs, and in the very large guest suite downstairs.

Antler Lodge is on the west side of Bowen Island, in an area that is acknowledged to be the sunniest - morning through sunset. That said, this is a also a wonderful perch to curl up on wet and misty West Coast weekends, and (if you're lucky) to enjoy a snowfall.

We're located on a long dead end street, which makes for maximum enjoyment of birdsong and hammock swinging (and if you're a kid, for safe bike riding on the road and adjacent trails). There are plenty of trail walks nearby - Quarry Park, Headwater Park, Fairy Fen. If that's you're caper, just ask.

More about us

  1. We are a couple with a 7 year old boy, Louw.

  2. Andrea and Pieter are both consultants who work from home, with just enough business travel to keep us engaged in the wider world!

  3. We love the arts, books, cooking, and our beautiful community on Bowen Island.
