About our home

This is a simple, well managed apartment beside Burnaby Mountain and near a marine park on express bus route to downtown and a 10-minute ride to LRT (Skytrain Millenium Line). Bathtub and shower. Ample closets and cupboards. Access to clothes washer and dryer ($2 a load). Proper stove with oven and large fridge in kitchenette with adjacent dining area. Table and chairs, dishes and cutlery. ! double sofa bed, 1 single, folding futon mat, plus one single sofa bed. Desk in bedroom. 43-inch smart monitor with highspeed internet and cable TV installed. Ground floor in shaded corner, so it stays cool in summer. Lots of light. One parking space on lot and lots of free parking close by. Small grassy areas on property with flowered garden. A bicycle may be available.

  1. I'm a single lady who's was born and raised in Vancouver. After teaching English in Korea for 10 years I returned to my hometown last year. I have a positive, socially responsible outlook, and like to write and stay fit. I am flexible, calm and easy to get along with. I love to travel and learn. I can speak and write French quite well, and speak and write Spanish adequately.

Where is it?


At base of mountain with a popular park with lots of trails and fabulous panoramic view all directions. Simon Fraser University is atop the mountain, next to park. City bike and walking paths. Lakes and bird sanctuary close by. Supermarkets and smaller grocers, and many services within an easy at walking distance, including take-out and sit-in restaurants. Buses to downtown, entertainment areas and beach areas one block away (30-45 min away). 40-min bus ride to Metrotown Mall in South Burnaby. Metro LRT station (Skytrain Millenium Line a 10-min. bus ride or 25-min walk away. Local metro buses go through historic Port Moody to Coquitlam Centre Mall. A large marine park with boating and walking paths is a 5-min. bus ride or 10-min. bike ride away. (Not a beach for swimming.)
