About our home
Our house is clean and well maintained. The yard is well kept. We have quite a variety of plants in our garden, but we would call it a "low maintenance" garden. Lots of mature trees for shade and privacy. On a nice summer day, it doesn't get better than sitting on our deck enjoying the view, the birds, a cold beer and a burger fresh off the BBQ.

Jim is a Mining Engineer and has been consulting the last couple years. I am currently Project Managing four different projects from cleaning drill cuttings, to making fertilizer, to scrubbing ammonia, to grinding grain. Susan has entered the working world now that the kids are older (22 & 26) and has worked as a Relief Manager at a hostel in Banff Park and most recently as a contract employee with Lafarge. We have very common interests including skiing at Louise, hiking in Banff and Kananaskis, camping everywhere, bicyling everywhere and health club. I sneak in the odd game of golf as time allows.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our home is located on the western edge of Fish Creek Provincial Park within the boundary of Calgary. We use the park mostly for biking in the summer. Just 10 minutes south of us is the world famous Spruce Meadows Equestrian Centre. Fabulous events in the summer culminating in the Master's competition in early September. We are an hour to the mountains where we hike in the summer and ski in the winter. Downtown Calgary is about 20 minutes away.
The best part of Calgary is the sunshine. You will love it.
