We all speak English and Russian and Anna is also studying French. We love to travel and have explored Canada, USA and several countries in Europe. We would like a chance to get to know our fellow exchangers via email/phone first. We would like to visit USA/Canada West Coast in summer 2007. We are looking forward to hear from you yulrmx@yahoo.com

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Calgary is a modern city and is the airport/gateway city to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Every summer it hosts Calgary Stampede (July 6-15, 2007) popular with visitors from around the world.
The house is located in a quiet south Calgary community of Lake Sundance with a private lake. It is close to parks, has easy access to highways and about 30 min away from the city centre (by car or nearby commuter train). Our location is a base to visit the Canadian Rockies and other attractions:

10min to Spruce Meadows
1.5 hours to Banff National Park
2 hours to British Columbia border in the Rockies
40 min to Kananaskis Country
3 hours to West Edmonton Mall - the world's largest entertainment and shopping centre
about 3.5 hours to the USA border and Waterton/Glacier National parks
