A spacious, open floor plan of living, dining, kitchen, and an office/den occupies much of the main floor. The home boasts of a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with two Miele ovens, a gas stove, a bar, and a private dining room that seats ten people. The great room features a high vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, and impressive cathedral windows with views of the majestic Three Sister Mountains. For a change of pace in the summer, you can dine alfresco on the beautiful south facing decks overlooking the Rocky Mountains with some freshly prepared delicacies off the gas barbeque grill.
Up to 12 guests will sleep well amid the crisp linens and accoutrements. The top floor has three bedrooms: the master bedroom featuring a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, steam shower, Jacuzzi bath tub, dual vanity, walk-in closet, and TV. The other two bedrooms have beautiful queen size beds and share a spacious bathroom with a shower, dual vanity and Jacuzzi bath.
At the end of the day, enjoy a relaxing hot tub under the south facing veranda looking onto the beautiful Rocky Mountains and a crackling fire in an open stone crafted fireplace, take a steam in a stone cave, and then watch a movie in the large open theatre or sip some spirits and play a game of billiards in the game room. There are three additional bedrooms all with queen size beds on the lower level with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains along with two bathrooms. There is also a fitness facility equipped with a TV on this floor.
Stonecreek Place is a quick five minute drive to downtown Canmore, the gateway to the Canadian Rockies. The town of Canmore offers lovely shopping, quaint coffee shops, yoga studios, spas, and many gastro delights. Silvertip Golf Resort is a five minute walk and the Three Sisters Golf Resort is a six minute drive. Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only 10 minutes away, home to world class skiing areas such as Lake Louise. During the summer, enjoy outdoor activities such horseback riding, amazing mountain bike and hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, and fly fishing. The town of Banff is a 25 minute drive away. Both Banff and Canmore offer a variety of productions throughout the year in theatre, music, and art from the internationally acclaimed Banff Centre. Furthermore, this beautiful region has served as the backdrop for many movies such as Broke Back Mountain and the Reverend.
