About our home

Our home was custom built 11 years ago on a 1/4 acre of land. The house has 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bathrooms, with an EnSuite off the master bedroom. A lounge, dining room, family room with sattelite T.V. Stereo system, DVD player and there is a computer for all your e-mail messages etc. Our kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances, micro wave, refrigerator, convection oven and dishwasher. Washer and dryer are in a seperate laundry room. There are 2 bicycles and 2 sets of golf clubs for your use in the double garage. Off the family room there is a 40 foot x 10 foot deck, that overlooks our garden and a river, very private. Our house is located on a guiet and safe residential street, with very friendly neighbours.

More about us

We have both been retired for a number of years now and have completed 6, highly successful, home exchanges in the past three years, 5 in England and 1 in California. We should be only too pleased to provide you with names and addresses of these exchangers, should you so wish, to check on references. We are interested in making further home exchanges in England, Cyprus and Southern Californis. But, we are open to any suggestions and we will reply to all enquires.

Where is it?

Harrison Hot Springs is a resort area situated on the shores of a 44 mile long pristine lake surrounded by mountains. Activities include, boating, fishing, swimming, the indoor pool is supplied with water from the natural hot springs. Hiking, cycling, golf etc. 2 sets of clubs available. The nearest golf course is 5 minutes from our home and the lake shore beach is 3 minutes away. There are a number of boutique style shops, numerous restaurants,large resort hotel etc. coffee shops, pubs a. The hotel has a number of cocktail bars, coffee shops, restaurants, informal and formal including one restaurant that features dinner dancing to a live band 5 nights a week. Harrison is ideally located within easy distance from the city of Vancouver and other towns. The main Highway is only 5 miles from Harrison and this will take you to the City of Vancouver,the Okanagan BC's wine producing region and also through spectacular scenery to the Rockies. The USA border is 45 minutes away and the drive to the City of Seattle will take you aprox 2 1/2 hours.
