About our home

Spacious, sunny, 3 storey, modern home built in 2009. We live in the west end of the city of Montreal proper, only a 15 minute drive to downtown Montreal, home of the Formula 1, the International Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs Festival, Osheaga, the International Fireworks Competition and endless other activities. We live on a quiet, residential street with wonderful neighbours.

More about us

  1. We're two fifty-somethings with two teenage daughters.

  2. Robert is a mechanical engineer who works in power generation, and I'm an English teacher.

  3. We enjoy travelling, but we're also home bugs. We're proud Montrealers who love our neighbourhood and our neighbours.

Where is it?

Our neighbourhood feels like the suburbs but it's actually only 15 minutes away from downtown Montreal. We live on a safe, quiet, tree-lined street of single family dwellings. We are located in the west end of the city in an area known as NDG which stands for Notre Dame de Grace in French. If you're looking for some delicious and varied neighbourhood restaurants, bars, and cafes, Monkland Avenue is nearby. There are community pools in the area, and we're minutes away from the Lachine canal where you will find an excellent bike path where you can ride a bike all the way to Old Montreal. We love our neighbourhood and especially our neighbours. We wouldn't live anywhere else.
