Where is it?

My house is an attached home located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. The province of Nova Scotia offers beautiful scenery, quaint fishing villages and numerous beaches along the extensive coastline. Dartmouth is a 20 minute drive to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. Here you have excellent restaurants (plenty of seafood), wonderful nightlife (pubs and clubs) and lots of shopping. Enjoy an evening of live entertainment and authentic Celtic music.

Nova Scotia is home of the highest tides in the world at the Bay of Fundy (1 hour drive) If you enjoy hiking, there is a guide to help you choose the right hiking trails in Nova Scotia.
There are several things to do in Nova Scotia including museums, shopping, walking the beach, fishing, whale watching, boat tours of all kinds (party boats, tug boats, sightseeing excursions, sailing…) bird watching and more. About a two hour drive from my house is an entertainment park for kids of all ages. This is a very inexpensive and fulfilling day to spend with family. (

Some other local attractions include the famous Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, Halifax Harbour, the Titanic disaster burial site and museums all within a few minutes of the house.
