About our home

Nestled into a beautiful residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets east of downtown (and 8 minutes away by car or 15 by transit), our home is a townhouse in a converted peanut factory, and was completely renovated to modern luxurious standard in 2016. My wife is an architect, and the results of our reno were featured in a number of online magazines.

Our house is a generously sized 2600 sq ft open concept town home with all the modern conveniences, including wi-fi, shower, bath, home theatre, XBox / playstation / 65-inch Flatscreen TV, modern kitchen, roof deck, wired for music and network throughout. Our home theatre gives you the option of watching 4K movies on Netflix, complete with Blu-ray player, and Dolby 5.2 surround sound. A huge music collection is accessible on every level of the home, via the built-in speakers.

In our home, the master has a queen bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a single bed. The "man cave" with a double futon on the first floor can serve as a 3rd bedroom (or just use it to play music or video games). The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, and the living/kitchen/dining space is on the completely open concept 3rd floor, giving you a 50ft x 20ft room to relax, unwind, and entertain in. Up another level you have the roof deck among the treetops with large propane BBQ, which is wonderful in the spring, summer, and fall. The dining table seats 8-10, and the spacious kitchen has everything you'd ever need. A working wood fireplace is wonderful for wintertime evenings.

We have screens on every level, and a desk with a fast computer, with large screen and wired internet access.

We like to escape in the summer and the winter, so those are good times to get in touch to see if our home is free.
