BC Rocky Mountain Log Home on 12 acres!

“Donna was a fabulous host and she checked in with us during our stay and answered all questions right away. The log home has a lot of character and since we stayed in the winter we really enjoyed the beautiful fire place. We stayed 8 people and there was a lot of room to spread out and be comfortable after a day of snowshoeing or snowmobiling at the many great trails just a short drive away. The deer would come for a visit several times a day and that only improved the beautiful view we would wake up to every morning. Beds are very comfortable and the house is very well equipped. I highly recommend her house for a swap. ”

“This log cabin is an incredible place to stay. The wildlife in the area is an experience, we had deer come right up to the windows in the morning while we were having coffee. It was clean, and comfortable. The area is really unique and there are so many things to do, I wish we had more time to stay there. Hiking in this area is next level. Donna is very kind and responsive, I can't stress what a good time we had staying here, if you are thinking of booking - I highly recommend it!! ”

“This is a great place to stay. The photos online really dont do the property justice - it is in an amazing location (i took plenty of photos but does not appear to be any faciltiy to upload). You look up at the Kootenay mountains, or across the valley to snow capped mountain on other side. Kids loved the large lawn area where they could play and frequented often by a local deer family. Outside area is a great place to sit, have a BBQ, enjoy the amazing location. Cabin was clean and comfortable inside and much bigger than we were expecting. We ended up only using 2 bedrooms. The log house has 3 floors, so plenty of space for all. Kitchen and laundry facilies are fine - no problems at all Its about 15 min to Radium Hot Springs and southern entry to Kootenay national park - plenty of things to do for a week. We coiuld have easily stayed for 2 weeks. We were very sad to leave. We feel so lucky to be able to spend a week here. We compare our experience in this cabin with those staying in cramped apartments in town, or in RVs...this experience is soooo much better!!! ”

“Our family and fiends (we were 7 with 3 kids) She prepare the house with everything needed, also a room with lot of toys and games for kids. The house is nice located, on nature but not far from the main road so you can go and visit all the incredible places and nature that are just really near to the house by car. The photos and details presented on Donna profile describe the house perfectly. Very well presented, clean and accommodated us all very well. We stayed 3 days and in retrospect could definitely have stayed longer but it was not possible. You have really nice places to go from here as Radium hot springs, 93 road, and do a one day journey trough lake Louise, emerald lake, and some other really incredible places arround Banff zone. In the morning we had some deers and squirrels in the garden so the kids were really excited. Thanks for letting us enjoy this place.”
