Our 100 year old two-storey Victorian home features stained glass windows, spacious kitchen, dining room, living room, four bedrooms, perennial gardens, huge lawn, and lots of privacy. Hardwood flooring and continuous cool air circulation keeps the interior cool on hot summer days. A well stocked library provides lots of good reading for adults and children while the very private deck patio in the yard is a favourite place for barbecues and summer wines. With sleeping for seven or more guests, fine art on the walls and an office, there is ample room for relaxation. The decore is inviting, the soft chairs comfy but if you want to get away for a few hours there is a canoe available for the nearby rivers.

Linda and Bob are an actively retired couple.
Bob likes to hike, explore, cook, read. He thinks he can write poetry.
Linda paints (not walls, silly!), carves, sews, sings in a choir, hikes with Bob and takes photographs which become the aforementioned paintings.

Within ONE HOUR are Stratford Shakespearean Festival, two lakes for sailing and fishing, three Provincial camp grounds,dozens of Mennonite communities and farmers' markets. YOU CAN WALK from our house to the Grand River Gorge for swimming,kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, or go golfing or visit the theatre, antique shops, slots and horseracing or any of the six churches in our town,www.elora.info (photo gallery). Canada and especially our part of Canada is a surprising and great destination that is too often overlooked. We invite you to come here and surprise yourself!
