Neighbourhood

In short walking distance from the Gatineau Park (www.capitaleducanada.gc.ca/gatineau), our house is in a friendly family oriented neighborhood. Cycling paths (about170km), walking trails (over 100 km), natural lakes for swimming and several golf courses are all nearby for summer activities.
The adventurers can visit underground caves (www.aventurelafleche.ca) or do canopy climbing. The stuntman-type can do indoor karting, white-water rafting, and rock climbing.
For those who prefer the urban life, our house is 10 min by car from downtown Ottawa (capital city), with its parliament and rich history. There are many great museums and art galleries to discover, and festivals and outdoor shows to attend in summer. You can try your luck at the casino (www.casino-du-lac-leamy.com) or attend a show at its hall. For a relaxing experience, a scandinavian spa in the heart of nature is closeby (www.lenordik.com).

Families with children can take a historical train tour(www.trainavapeur.ca), visit the Omega Park (www.parcomega.com), which provides a glimpse of true Canadian wildlife (bears, buffalos...), or drive to the aquatic park.
