About our home

Enjoy this romantic West Coast retreat 40 minutes from Vancouver. Morning sunrises and full moon evenings. Fish for salmon, swim from the beach, walk along the shoreline to the local village, kayak to nearby islands and other hidden beaches. Hike or mountain bike on nearby trails. Play golf on 2 local public courses or a 9 hole in Pender Harbour. Roast marshmallows on a beach bonfire or sip some wine while the sun goes down on the distant mountains. The local town offers quaint shops, cafes, coffee shops, bars, restaurants. The surrounding areas offer many galleries and local artists.
The main bedroom has a queen bed with a water view, the second bedroom has an adult bunk bed with double lower bed and single top bed. The suite offers a full kitchen but like the old days, you'll have to wash the dishes by hand. There is a TV for videos and DVD's (many videos provided). Up to two parking spots provided. 2 kayaks and one rowboat available for use with life jackets. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We know you will leave relaxed and refreshed with lots of great memories.
Please note a C$75.00 cleaning fee will apply.

Neighbourhood

The town of Gibsons is within walking distance from our home. You can reach this via the beach on low tide or along the road with a high tide. There you will find many local cafés, restaurants, and some cool bars. Also some cute shops. By car, Roberts Creek and Sechelt offer many shops restaurants and cafés. All the way up the Sunshine coast there are many galaries and in October the coast hosts the Art Crawl where all the artisans open up their homes for the public. There are 2 local 18 hole public golf courses and a 9 hole public course in Langdale and Pender Harbout. Whether you want to relax or stay busy there are many options available.
