About our home

A pleasant, nicely renovated, old home (circa: 1870) in a quiet village but still only a few minutes from shopping. Very comfortable, bright and spacious with a relaxed and casual feel. A deck allows for a quiet coffee or glass of wine while looking out on the large lot.

More about us

  1. We're Blaine and Jill, two educators (principal and physical education teacher). With two older children scattered around the world. we thought it interesting to try a home exchange to widen our experiences as well. Travel has always been a high priority and this sounded like a good idea.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The Eastern Townships of Quebec is a very beautiful, pastoral, and central part of Quebec. The top end of the Appalachian Mountains provides lots of opportunity for hiking and mountain biking. An extensive system of bicycle paths runs through the area. We are only 45 min. from Montreal or 3 hours from Quebec City or Ottawa. An hour puts you at the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe Vermont while 6 hours would put you on the Maine Coast or in Toronto.
