About our home

Our 1946, 3 bedroom home is located in Old Glenmore in Kelowna, B.C. - a location that can't be beat. We're a 5 min drive to beaches, central to wineries, 45 minutes to Big White Ski Resort, and 15 min to our International airport. If you are a family with young children, our home is completely turn key -- toddler bed rails, crib, car seat, toys galore, books, high chair, bikes etc.). This home is also well-suited for those without children.

We've got ample outdoor space with a BBQ and gazebo to enjoy in the warmer months and a hot tub to soak in all year round. We're a 7 min bike ride to downtown Kelowna, where you can enjoy our emerging brewery scene, urban wineries, the theatre, restaurants, shopping, City Park and more.

Our home has three bedrooms - one on the main floor and two on the 2nd floor. The two bedrooms upstairs can be outfitted for an infant (crib) and toddler or we would be happy to set up proper beds in both rooms. The office is downstairs and is perfect for setting up a space for remote working.

Kelowna is is a perfect hub for touring BC's winter wonderland and the many ski hills it has to offer. The following is a list of resorts within close proximity:

Big White Ski Resort - 45 min
Silver Star Resort - 1.25 hrs
Apex Mountain Resort - 1.5 hrs
Sun Peaks - 2.5 hrs
Revelstoke Mountain - 2.5 hrs
Mount Baldy Ski Area - 2.5 hrs
Red Mountain Resort - 3.5 hrs
Whistler Blackcomb - 5 hrs

The Okanagan Valley is also a premier wine growing region that stretches over 250 km. It is home to both small boutique wineries and large-scale operations. Many wineries are open year round, where wine tasting is a great way to spend a day and to learn about wine making in Canada.

We're looking to head somewhere warmer for the winter so our sons (and I!) can enjoy the water and a beach just a little bit longer.
