About our home

We have a 5 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms. We have ample parking and a garage. We will exchange our car which is a Toyota Prius Hybrid. Our house has a formal living room/dining room and office with computer. Our kitchen is bright and has a 6 person table and the family room. We have 2 TVâs. Our backyard is adjacent to a low flowing creek. Privacy and quiet in a park like setting. Wonderful patio, barbeque and chair set and table. 2 recliner chairs for sun tanning. We have all the modern day appliances in our home including air conditioning. We have bikes, badminton and basketball equipment. We do have 1 cat that we are leaving here. House cleaning for a charge is available if desired. Clean and comfortable home.

More about us

My husband and I have 3 terrific teenagers ages 17,15 and 13. We have been married for 19 years. My husband is retired and I am a home maker. We operated travel offices for over 20 years and sold them. We enjoy many sports and in particular soccer(football). My husband coaches soccer and basketball for our children. We are actively involved with our family. We have purchase our tickets for Summer 2007 and hope to find accomodation in the Lugano/Como areas of Europe for a 2 week exchange. Arriving August 4-18, 2007 only. Car exchange would be an asset.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Kelowna is a tourist resort and many international people travel here for sun and relaxation. Please check out www.tourismkelowna.com Our neighborhood is wonderful and great to walk to many beaches in our area. Biking trail along streams are accessible. Tennis club close, restaurants and grocery stores within short walk. Neighbors are friendly and quiet and there are many families with children of all ages in our neighborhood. Mountain biking and boat rental is available. We are known for our wineries in the Okanagan Valley and our fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farmers. Cherries, peaches, plums, apples and pears are grown right here in our area. Our golf courses are wonderful. We are a 4 hour car ride from Vancouver but, we have our own international airport. Our lake is very large but our area has many smaller lakes to enjoy. Kelowna is a city for all ages to enjoy young or old alike.
