About our home

Located at Big White Ski Resort our chalet is located in a private architectually controlled luxury development. Our home is part of a two unit chalet with a private entrance. Built in 2003 it features a large living room with kitchen and dining area. Views of the surrounding Monashee mountains are exceptional. There are two guest rooms on the lower second level one with a queen bed the other with bunks. Below there is a master suite with fireplace and separate washroom. A private hot tub is included off the master suite. Everything is included for the ultimate family ski vacation, games, 42 LCD TV/DVD, well equipped kitchen, kids TV/VCR/DVD with Wii video Game, Bar-B-Que and many extras.

More about us

We are a family of 4 with two boys. We own one of our regions wineries and enjoy cooking and culinary tourism. We live in Kelowna and are avid skiers and enjoy being active and learning about new things. Our desire is to tour a few weeks each year.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are a 15 min walk to the village at Big White and have a good ski out to the lifts and an excellent ski in right to our door. The forest development has 26 private residences and is situated with great views and privacy. Big White is the second largest ski resort in British Columbia and has one the best kids programs for skiing and boarding in North America. The resort has a tremendous amount of extra activities including cross country skiing, skating and a kids tube park. Please visit www.bigwhite.com for more details. Saturday nights feature the carnival nights and fireworks. There are plenty of restaurants and evening acitvies for all.

The skiing is some of the best in the world as this area is renowed for champagne powder which is dry and light. The high elevation (7,000 ft/2,000 M) means good snow and lots of it.

We are 55 mins from the city of Kelowna (pop. 125,000) and the airport. Access to Kelowna is 4hours from Vancouver by car or a quick and inexpensive flight (50mins) from Vancovuer or Seattle.
