About our home

We are a semi-retired couple, both natives of Montreal. We have well behaved cats that need to be fed and let in and out. My parents live upstairs and can help if you need to leave for a few days. Shopping is just around the block.
Our modest home is located in Verdun, ( a working class neighborhood) Quebec not far from the waterfront, in a suburb of Greater Montreal with public transit available within a block. The community has recreation centers, riverside parkland with an extensive bike trail, plus an easy bike ride to the downtown core of Montreal which is 20 minutes away by bus or metro. There is a are golf course just 15 minutes by car (over the Champlain bridge)
Our flat is on the ground floor with a living- dining room, a piano room, computer room and master bedroom In the back end of the flat . The master bedroom has a queen bed and tv along with an armoire The kitchen has a dishwasher, micro-wave and other appliances along with a juicer. The bathroom has a bath and shower and is tiled. We have a washing machine, no dryer. We try to be green. Just outside the kitchen you will find a private patio with a garden and an enclosed space for lounging.
