Hi! I have a nice condo right in the Little Italy to swap. The condo is very causy and quiet. In summer, the air conditionning and the swimming pool make the hot weaves easier to pass through. The bedroom has a very large window that opens on a quiet area (not a street) and let you see the Jarry Park. I have a kichen full equipped. The dining room and the living room communicates. A large baywindow lets the light and a good wind pass through (condo is located at second floor). The balcony is ideal for breakfeat or supper, you have the sun early in the morning or late at sunset.
I may include a car in the swap. The condo is about ten minutes by car from the Laurentians Highway (the North one) and the Met Highway (that goes West and East, to Ottawa or Quebec City).
Pictures will come.
Hi! My name is Julie. I am a college teacher in prepress design and a painter. I am in my mid- forties. The swap would include my boyfriend Francis who is also a college teacher, in litterature. He is 40. We are French speakers but able to communicate in English (especially my boyfriend). Francis had make a home exchange few years ago and found the experience really interesting to get to know the real daylife of people. We are looking to go to Netherlands in first place because we have never gone there and architecture and people look great. We are open to any offer from Netherland (country or city, north, south). Offers from Alsace (France) or Belgium would also been considered.
The condo is 700 m from the Jean-Talon Market, the biggest air market in town, when you may buy very fresh produces or local and traditionnal meals. The neighbourhood is called Little Italy, that says everything, no? From groceries to restaurants to cafés, you will smell a taste of Italy. From the baywindow, you have a nice glance on the Jarry Park, where you may walk around the pound or, if you like, go to a picnic party. The bike path is nearby and takes you downtown or (if you like the efforts) up to the Mount Royal in about 30 minutes. If you prefer the subway, the station is just a three minutes walk (no kidding!). And the bus drives you in fifteen minutes dowtown.
