Big, bright, spacious and newly renovated house typical of Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal with a lot of cachet (including hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, moldings, brick walls, huge wood windows, etc.) on the first floor of a three storey building. Beautiful garden (for kids) and deck for BBQs and/or warm summer nights and parking.
The house has huge rooms: a library with our collection of French classics, a living room to relax and watch movies, a spacious bathroom with large bath and adjacent shower, a studio (for music and movies), a big kitchen with the best instruments to cook and an island in the middle to chat and cook at the same time, with adjacent dining room. Downstairs we have extra space for exercises, laundry and workshop.
If you want to spend a few weeks in Montreal and truly live a memorable experience, you have to live in one of those houses ideally located in Plateau Mont-Royal.
Note: Our home is not only beautiful. It is our home. We are not interested in having the whole world see it. We are only interested in serious offers from people who will take the time to read us and write to us. Therefore, if you want to see pictures, let us know. We will send them to you with pleasure.
The house is located on Christophe Colomb Avenue, a beautiful avenue with mature trees.
The house is in an ideal spot in Plateau Mont-Royal: a few steps from Parc Lafontaine (perfect for jogging, tai chai, reading, relaxing, walking, skating, sliding, even crosscountry skiing and many other outdoor activities) and one block from Mont-Royal and Rachel street with all its little cafés, shops, food and liquor stores and good restaurants (many bring your own wine restaurants close by). The place is safe with police station nearby. It is also 5-7 minute walk to Mont-Royal Metro/subway station and very close to downtown (10 minutes to walk to Sainte-Catherine where all activities of different festivals).
