About our home

Ground floor apartment in a calm area of Montreal with access to the backyard. One room with double bed, home office, living room and a full equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and washer dryer (or you can hang outside your clothes to let them dry in a very typical Quebecer’s way). Also one full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Five minutes walking distance from metro Frontenac station.

5 minutes walking distance from metro Frontenac station and close to many useful buses to go to the centre. Half way between Olympic Stadium and down town. It is not a fashionable district but there are many practical small stores and affordable restaurants near by to discover when you do not feel to go far away. Very close to my favorite Cultural House, also 5 minutes walking, where you can have free access to the library, exhibitions and many kinds of shows. Few indoors and outdoors public swimming pools nearby. Ideal to live and experiment everyday life in a Montreal’s neighborhood. Many artists live around. Not far away of the best free place to look at the Fireworks Festival during summer time: just go down to St-Laurent River which is about 10 minutes walking. Arrive earlier to pick-nick in the park!

Close to many main streets, express way and bridges to get into or to get out of Montreal easily by car. And there is always a park place just in front my door.

I am living in this area since over 15 years now. It had change a lot in a good way since that time. As an artist, I have to live in an affordable area and at the same time find stimulations: fresh food, good and affordable restaurants, exhibitions, metro station and buses near by, quietness, park, bakery, best tomato pizza in town, etc.
