Where is it?

Minutes from the ferry to Vancouver (1.5 hrs) and 110km drive to Victoria, provoncial capital. We are surrounded by pristine wilderness as soon as you leave town or head into the hills in town. Beaches are spectacular and Long Beach is 2.5 hrs away on the West Coast. There is good lake fishing and swimming, hiking/mountain biking trails galore, very active running clubs/sailing club etc, many puiblic golf courses and for the less activite Nanaimo boasts more retail space than elsewhere in Canada.
