About our home

We moved into our brand new 1117 square foot condo July 15, 2006. It is on the 6th floor facing north;the wall-to-wall windows in each and every room provide a clear view of the North Shore Mountains which are only a 45 minutes drive away. We are centrally located in “uptown” New Westminster with easy access to both busses and sky train. Nearby are restaurants, banks, parks, a public library, a shopping mall, and a senior’s center called “Century House”.

More about us

  1. My wife, Geri, and I (Russ)have been married only six years, although we dated way back when we were 18 years old. We are both seniors now. Geri retired from John Abbot College in Quebec where she was a purchasing agent for many years. I am a retired Business Manager, formerly a Finance Manager and formerly a Police Constable.

Where is it?

Vancouver, for the second year, was voted the second best city in the world in which to live. We are only 13 miles from downtown Vancouver. Within 45 minutes are three mountains (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, spectactular views), the famous 1000-Acre Stanley Park, Simon Fraser University, University of B.C., the Vancouver International Airport, and historic Steveston. We are only about a 3 hours drive from Whistler, the site of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
