About our home
A beautiful detached home in the vibrant Toronto neighbourhood of Leslieville.
As proclaimed in the New York Times, "Toronto’s hippest places to dine, drink, shop and live".
Ideally located on a quiet street but steps away from all the action; interesting shops, restaurants, groceries, cafes, bars, galleries and events.
A 2-minute walk to public transportation for easy access to all areas in and around the city.
Just a 10-minute streetcar ride to the centre of town!
Explore on foot nearby Toronto Beaches, Little India, Gerrard Chinatown, Greek Danforth.
On the way discover unique stores, restaurants, hidden parks and so much cultural diversity.
A 3-storey home with 3 bedrooms (4 if you include the basement), 2 bathrooms, parking space can be provided.
We have a king bed in the loft bedroom, a queen and double bed in the second floor bedrooms. The basement has a queen bed. The sofa in the living room also pulls out into a large very comfortable queen size bed.
Our home is bright, open, spacious with an old Toronto style but renovated and updated inside.
So much character, a real downtown Toronto neighbourhood experience.

“Communication was good both before and aft. Nicola and family were easy easy next door neighbors for a week. Would definitely have kept them longer had it been possible! Nicola and family left the place as well or better than they found it - so appreciate it. It is a significant project to ready a big house for incoming guests - and as help grows scarce, strangely, Jay and I seem to grow older ! So there is added weight and added gratitude to me saying we really appreciate the house being left in such great shape. Entirely welcome back to Vermont another time - long as we can keep this fun thing going!”
“Nicola and her family were fantastic guests. Very thankful and easy to communicate with. My only negative would be that I came home at 9pm to big piles of laundry, some washed, some unwashed, and beds with no sheets, after a 20 hour flight with four young kids. I know she thought she was helping by "starting" the laundry, but I was under the impression the beds would have been completely changed. I'm sure it was because they were trying to catch a flight of their own. Other than that she was fantastic!”

I am a tax accountant, my husband is a house contractor. We both work for ourselves so our travelling windows are very flexible! We have two places for swapping; a downtown Toronto home that fits 10 people, and a cottage 2 hours north of the city.

We love travelling as a family, we have an 18 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. We've done many house swaps and they have all been amazing experiences!
