About our home

We have a house in the Annex in Toronto that was completely renovated in 2003 and converted into two apartments. Our apartment is half of the second floor and all of the third floor. It's bright and spacious and the ceilings are high. We take good care of it and the kitchen and main bathroom were renovated 5 years ago. We have a huge garden with a new cedar deck, a fire pit, and parking. It is walking distance to the ROM, the AGO, U of T, Kensington Market, HotDocs Cinema, and so many delicious restaurants. Also a 3-minute walk to two subway lines.

We are open to nearby swaps any time, and farther away/international swaps for 2022.

There are two bedrooms with queen-size beds, and a third-floor sitting room that can accommodate a futon on the floor. We have a ten year-old cat named Felix who comes with the house. He is healthy and independent but needs a little bit of care (feeding him and making sure he is inside for the night in the colder months).

Neighbourhood

Tucked in the heart of the University of Toronto is the historic neighbourhood of Huron-Sussex. The best of both worlds--a leafy, quiet neighbourhood that is steps away from many of Toronto's most interesting places. Walking, biking, or transit will get you easily from here to everywhere you might want to explore. And when you are tired of exploring, spend some time in the garden or on the rooftop deck.
