About our home

We have a small comfortable, clean, cottage across the road from a lake, it has a private beach access to the lake. A provincial park is located on the other side of the lake. The cottage has 2 small bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a futon, sleeps 3 comfortable, possibly 4, there is a beautiful deck on the front looking out towards the lake, it is located on a private road approximately 5 minutes drive from town. The kitchen is equipped with a new fridge and stove and microwave, a barbque is along side the house. It is newly remodelled with fresh drywall and paint in a cheerful color. The flooring is wood with throw rugs, it is a rustic cottage that feels good. Cable TV and high speed internet, I do not have phone hook up since I use my cell most of the time. It is prime central location to see what Ontario has to offer from Toronto to Collingwood to "The Muskokas", including Alconquin Park.

Where is it?

The cottage is approximately 5 minute drive from town on a private road. 1/2 or the other homes on the road are summer homes only. Orillia is 1.5 hrs north of Toronto by car and the gateway to cottage country. Alconquin Park is another 1.5 hour drive north from the cottage with tons of lakes, canoe and kayak rental places, Collingwood is 1 hour drive and a fun place to visit with alot of hiking, biking, caving, shopping, swimming etc...Orillia is a small town with big attitude in the summer, a vacation hot spot for Torontonions with a wonderful lake front, an amazing rollerblading or biking trail along the lake, the main street is small and quaint with beautiful stores and local restaurants. There are TONS of things to do around the area if you like the outdoors, if you prefer museums, theatre and city life it is only a short drive away. Come and visit "THE MUSKOKAS" and you will never regret your choice.
