About our home

Our exquisite 1905 patrimonial house is in the most conveyed district of Montreal, one step from the renowned rue Bernard. From walking distance to the metro, many fine restaurants and shops, you will find a refined grocery store, a cheese shop and a bakery just a few steps away.
As Montreal is a cycling city, a city bike bixi station is on the street behind our house but we do have bicycles for all the family: within a 20 minutes bicycle ride, you will be in the heart of downtown Montreal. You can cycle to the famous Jean Talon market where you can buy freshly picked fruits and vegetables as well as biological fishes and meat all year around. There are many parks in the neighborhood where you can jog or just wander around. If you like skating in the winter, you can walk to the ring in a few minutes.
The house is newly renovated with a large kitchen and big glass patio doors facing a sunny, quiet, and private garden courtyard, well appreciated for every season. There are 4 bedrooms: the master room has a king size bed, there are 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed and 1 singe bedroom for a child. The basement is a little paradisiac playground for the children: you will find a babyfoot table, a basketball net, many toys and a ton of legos. The house has 2 bathrooms and 1 powder room.
If you enjoy music and theater, Montreal is your destination as many festivals are going on all year around : Jazz festival, Francophonie, Just for Laughs, Montreal en lumière in the winter and many more.
A 45 minutes drive will bring you to the beautiful Eastern Townships or the Laurentides which are great for skying.
We are a friendly and responsible family of 4. François and I are professionnals and have two respectful boys of 5 and 12 years of age.
