Modern, open-plan home nestled in the Pemberton valley. Enjoy stunning Mt. Currie from a private living space, looking out on trees and mountain views. An easy walk along pedestrian paths and low-traffic roads takes you to the newly re-vamped downtown with coffee shops and world-class restaurants. Everything is less than a 10 minute walk away. Central access to all of Pemberton's walking, hiking, and mountain biking trails in one of the sunniest neighbourhoods in town. Jump in the car or hop on the bus for a scenic 30-minute, traffic-free drive to Whistler and all the resort has to offer. Head in the other direction on Duffy Lake road for a backcountry adventure, or head down the stunning Pemberton Meadows and up the Hurley River FSR to access even more terrain. Then come back and relax by the fire or on the deck in Pemberton.
Enter the house through the oversized front door. A large entry hall is perfect to hanging your wet jackets and snow gear with plenty of space for bikes and skis. Walk up to the main floor for a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area so everyone can spend time together. Cozy up next to the fire, or feel the summer breeze in the screened-in porch without any bugs. The large, well-stocked kitchen can deliver any meal you dream up or it can perfectly lay out some pizzas and beers.
A hallway off the main space leads to the three bedrooms. The master bed has a king size bed with a luxurious ensuite complete with rain shower. A second bedroom is currently set up as a nursery, but can be converted to a full bedroom if preferred. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, or can be used as an office or workstation. The rustic-modern second bath has a full tub and shower.
For a small town, Pemberton punches well above it’s weight class. With multiple world-class restaurants and coffee shops, you won’t need to go to Whistler for an enjoyable evening out. A large community centre has a gym, library, and a stocked calendar of programming for adults and kids alike. A BMX track, skate park, and 10km flat running and walking path are also easily accessible.
Head in to the mountains to see where the heart of Pemberton lies. The house is situated at the centre of all three trail networks; world-class single track mountain biking, hiking, and trail running trails are right out the front door. Venture out a bit farther to run downhill laps at the legendary Whistler Bike Park or hit the slopes at Whistler Blackcomb, the largest ski resort in North America. Backcountry adventures abound on the Duffy or Hurley areas with ski touring, hiking, and snowmobiling. For a more relaxed pace, One Mile lake provides a kid-friendly, dog-friendly water retreat, perfect for splashing around or paddle boarding. Dozens of lakes are within a 20 minute drive or bike, providing you with many options for freshwater swimming.
