About our home

Our home is located approx. 3 miles from Penetanguishene on the shores of Georgian Bay. There is a wrap around deck. The view of the bay is visible from all the windows also from the lower level which is a walk-out to the water. Georgian Bay with its 30.000 islands is one of the most beautifull places in Canada. There are boat trips available to see al this beauty. Niagara Falls is approx. 3.5 hours away. If you like to see wild life Moose or Deer than Alqonguen park is approx. 2.5 hours drive. If golf is you looking for there are 2 great golf courses about10 min. away and in a 50 km. radius about 20 to 30 more. If you come in the winter skiing is about 3/4 or a hr. away.
The multi cultural city of Toronto is approx. 2 hrs. from here a great place to visit if you are looking for excellent dining or visit the highest free standing tower, the zoo or the best shopping in Ontario. Casino Rama features world famous entertainers and cambling 1.5 hrs. from here.

More about us

Now something about us Tinie and Mike, we are both in our 60 and this is our first experience in house exchange. We are both retired and we looking forward to see some more of the world other than Europe and Canada. Since this is our first exchange we are a little gun shy to leave our house with strangers because we are proud of it. But you can be assured that we look after yours as we do look after ours.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is just outside town but close enough to the stores and dining.
In the summer it is wonderfull to sit on the deck or on the sandy beach and enjoy the view, or cool-off in the lake.
And in the winter, snow mobiling or ice fishing is at the doorstep.
Across the bay there is a theater which features plays all summer.
