About our home
This is a charming cottage with lots of character. Featuring a large living room with cedar and pine interior and ten foot ceilings. Our large sundeck has a beautiful view of Clear Lake. There are three docks with ten feet of depth for swimming and also steps in to a sandy shallow area. There are all the modern conveniences including premium satellite with 37"television , dishwasher and laundry facilities. My 4wd Mazda Tribute could be part of an exchange. I have a 15'4" Boston Whaler Jet Drive boat which may be arranged separately.

I am a retired charter boat captain and have a home in Toronto and second winterized cottage nearby. I have a carpenter / maintenance man share this home with me. In the summer, my girlfriend and I stay at the cottage on the lake or at her home down the shore. We both enjoy traveling during the summer and Christmas/March breaks as she is the dean of a local school. With all of these homes it makes sense to offer this available for exchange.

Our $800,K cottage is on Clear Lake which is part of prestigious Stoney Lake on the Trent Waterway system. These lakes offer sixteen miles of pristine granite Islands and clear water. Our large lot is at the end of a private road and has plenty of parking. The sundeck is forty feet from the lake and there is a patio and outdoor fireplace at the waters edge. There is also a separate boathouse with kitchen and bathroom which may be offered for two to four people. Our cottagers private beach is a two minute walk (or five minute swim) and a marina is a short stroll down the path. Lakefield is a ten minute drive and Toronto is a 1 1/2 hour highway drive.
