Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and a sandwich or pastry in the variety of shops as you head down to the boardwalk, or simply find a bench and just people watch. Each Thursday evening there is a concert by the water which is lovely. Pickering has two libraries, a mall for all your shopping needs, fine dining and many casual restaurants suich as Moxy's and Jack Astor's mixed amongst the local mansion styled pubs.
