Our Vancouver Island home is situated on a large lot with tall Douglas fir trees, surrounding garden, fish pond, and patio. Our 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds and ensuites. Our modern kitchen with all conveniences provides a home away from home.. Qualicum Beach, a town of 7000 people,
is a favorite destination for Canadians as well as International visitors. We have beautiful beaches, golf courses, restaurants, good shopping, natural beauty. There is easy access by air, bus, ferry, shuttle as well as car. We are 2 hours from the capital city of Victoria and its International airport. Nanaimo and Comox are 1 hour away - 2 other cities with major airports. Come and see for yourself.

Our home has one guest bedroom on the main floor. The master bedroom and another guest bedroom are on the second floor. The two upstairs bathrooms are blessed with skylights. The comfortable living room with river rock stone fireplace and another sitting room have a cathedral ceiling with 4 skylights. One door leads out onto the back garden. The front door leads onto the front deck. Another side door connects to the carport.
Our home is located on The Inland Island Highway, a 5 minute walk from the beach, and close to the old growth Douglas Fir Heritage Forest with its beautiful walking trails. The townsite is a 20 minute walk away and has many small stores and restaurants. We have a museum, churches, railway station, civic centre, swimming pool, library,art and music centre and lots of friendly people. There are 5 beautiful golf courses, tennis courts, lawn bowling and many other sport opportunities. Salmon fishing is available as are boat rentals at several local marinas.
We are a retired couple with many interests. We have travelled to the UK, Europe, Brazil, and have been involved with projects in Africa. Our 4 children are married and we have 9 grandchildren living in other parts of Canada.
Our activities around home include gardening, bridge, golf, curling, concerts, and many volunteer activities in the community. We enjoy walking and have excellent health.
