About our home

Limoilou is one of the oldest neighborhood in Quebec. It offers a lot of parks to take long walk alongside the St-Charles River and there is also a bicycle road that leads straight to the Old port of Québec where you can buy fruits, veggies, flowers and other amazing stuff from the Jean Talon Market straight from the local producers. If you want to enjoy your day even more, take the steps that leads to the Chateau Frontenac and the Old city of Quebec. You can then enjoy a lot of different interesting activities, no matter what the season is. There is always something to do (Carnaval de Québec in Winter, Festival D'été, Red Bull Crashed Ice, a ton of amazing street artists, Cirque du Soleil, etc). Literally 100 feet from our home is Cartier-Brébeuf Park, one of the oldest and biggest park in quebec city. Limoilou is yet one of the oldest, but also one of the neighborhood that has regain a lot of popularity from a vibrant cultural movement, There is a lot of tree, a lot of small businesses and a lot of events there. It is one the few neighborhood that is being taken care of in this city. Our flat is a two stories apartment. It is, in fact, the first floor and the basement. It has a nice and big Living room and an incredibly big and awesome kitchen. There is one room on the first floor and one room in the basement. There is also a little study room on the first floor. In the basement, there is a big living room that can be used for...say..anything. It is just a huge space that can be transform in whatever we want. We are one of the lucky few in Downtown Quebec city to have a backyard. We are plants lovers, so we do have a nice garden in the backyard. It is fenced all around so there is no problem with letting the dogs out. We have one balcony in the front, and one in the back. There is a compost bin we build in the backyard. The neighbors are super friendly and lovable. They're the kind of people you wanna have over for dinner. If you're planning to live a nice and enjoyable adventure down in Quebec, I would recommend you come in Limoilou instead of Old City, because Old City is awesome, but Limoilou is the true heart of Québec, where the artist are from, where the trees grow strong, where the air smells and taste better and where the fun always is.
