“Good host and a lovely cotttage in a good location. Very clean on arrival. Close to a lot of things to see and do. Climb Mont Orford, have a great four hour train ride and dinner, take a Kinticki boat tour of Lac Memphremagog, visit a monastery that makes cheese and cider, tour a local winery, tour the Blue Lavender Farm and lots of quaint restaurants in Orford and Magog. Everything within 20 minutes. Then come back to a terrific cottage. What more could you ask for?”

About our home
Our cottage will charm you with its unique character, it will offer you an exceptional setting for an unforgettable stay in Eastern Townships.
Our refuge is a place of great comfort, a haven of peace and relaxation in a natural and relaxing environment.
Ideal for families, friends or lovers, we like to make it a place of conviviality and sharing. Our cocoon as well as the big garden wish to bring some "ZEN" in the life of our guests. Built by a craftsman in 2003, its massive 2-foot-thick walls, insulated with straw bales, covered with a plaster of clay make it warm in winter and cool in summer.
Its materials were chosen to minimize the ecological footprint: straw, clay, lime, wood recovered from a century-old barn in the area and bricks recovered from the former East brick factory.
The house and its private courtyard are oriented so that you can enjoy the sun all day.
The entire housing is at your disposal, 2500 PC distributed over two floors, in addition to a charming mezzanine very popular with the little ones.
Large open room including dining room, kitchen and lounge area, with its openings on the intimate backyard.
Cathedral ceiling in the living room with exposed beams.
Three rooms are simply decorated, the bedding and quality mattresses provide a refreshing sleep, the house has absolute silence at night .

“Our host, Marion, was lovely and left an amazing amount of welcome-food for us upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. Her home is lovely and is located near the very cute village of Magog which has many shops and restaurants. The house is beautifully appointed and is quite comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend a stay here. Susan and Bob G. ”
“Ce fut une réussite totale, notre séjour c’est très bien passé, nous avons été très bien accueillis par les Parents de Marion , dont nous nous faits des Amis !! La maison est grande, confortable, bien équipée et bien située dans un lotissement de 400 maisons (chalets de ski) à flanc de coteau arboré, près de la ville de Magog, ou il y a toutes les commodités. Pour une première tentative, nous sommes très contents de ce voyage dans cette belle province de Québec. Marie et Régis”
“I would definitely recommend Marion to stay at your place for a home swap. ”

Located along the U.S. border, the Eastern Townships region - with its mountains, large lakes, and expanses of verdant countryside - offers bucolic settings that make for the perfect vacation.
The region is renowned for its quaint towns that enchant visitors with their impressive Victorian homes, authentic feel, and history.
In addition, the Wine Route and various regional products, such as Lake Brome duck, are an irresistible invitation to gastronomic discovery
Tthe Eastern Townships region is home to many national and regional parks, including those at Mount Orford, Mount Mégantic, Yamaska, and Coaticook Gorge, where an array of outdoor activities are offered.
Following the Summit Drive, one is taken from mountaintop to mountaintop, discovering truly breathtaking vistas along the way.
Mount Mégantic and its ASTROLab provide a perfect view of the most beautiful starry skies in the region.
In summer, sports enthusiasts can enjoy hiking along the Estrie trails and others, water sports on Brome, Massawippi, Mégantic, and Memphrémagog lakes, or golf on one of the region's many courses.
Cyclists can also indulge their passion on some 500 km of bicycle paths, 200 of which are part of the Route Verte network.
If you’re looking to escape into a winter wonderland by snowshoeing, hiking or cross‑country skiing, there’s no match for the Eastern Townships. For a downhill getaway, take your pick of mountains: Bromont, Sutton, Orford, Owl’s Head or, better still, try them all!
Look for the Créateurs de saveurs brand, a symbol of quality for cheeses, cider, wine, honey, maple syrup, wild boar, black currants and more! Taste the Townships!
