About our home

Our lovely home situated on beautiful Lake Cecebe has spectacular views of the lake and the highlands as well as many miles of boating. We have a small sandy beach for swimming and a dock with motor boat, canoe and kayak. In the winter we offer a two person snowmobile and a warm fireplace. Hike out the back door. Skiing about an hour away. We have a window air conditioner upstairs, warm furnace, a home gym, computer, satellite t.v., a three season sunroom, and a covered verandah to name a few amenities including all appliances. A car exchange could be arranged. We are looking for November through winter destinations but would consider others.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are situated on a big lake, thirteen minutes by car from two small towns and an hour south of North Bay or three hours north of the city of Toronto. The town of Burks Falls has ample grocery and gift shopping. We are also 40 minutes from the larger town of Huntsville which has great shopping. We have friendly neighbours on the lake. Occasionally we see deer, moose, black bear, porcupines, otters and other animals around our country neighbourhood in early spring and winter. We are about 1/2 hour drive from Algonquin Park for camping or further hiking.
