We are a family of 4: Doug, 45, globe trotter, high school teacher, landlord, potter and cabinet maker. Catherine, 31, co-owner of an award winning family business (5th generation wine and liquor making, www.cassismonna.com), visual artist and photographer. Rose, 3, no career aspirations in sight as of yet but a big fan of computer generated animation, and Josef, 8 months, currently focussed on smiling and laughing. We have lived on the island in this terrific home for 6 years which belonged to Catherine's father, Bernard, origin Southern France, who lives on the property as well. We have a nine year old weiner dog, Charlotte, and two finches(small quiet low impact birds with orange beaks). The birds would stay in the house and the dog could stay with Catherine's father if you choose so. We speak French and English at home, love cooking, reading, music, films, and travelling (great sound system, flat screen with DVD/VHS, books, films, piano, guitar, and expresso machine just to name a few toys to make you feel at home).
