There is a small suite on the ground floor (currently unoccupied). The ground floor has an entry/mud room with washer/dryer and a large family room (currently storage and office with a computer).

More about us

  1. Both of us are retired educators with an ongoing love of learning. We like to stay healthy and active, and we enjoy travelling both locally and abroad. I am an avid hiker and can recommend hikes into many of our local mountains at all levels.

I love to cook so the kitchen is equipped with a lot of interesting spices and Jen likes to keep the garden bright and healthy (and you can see why in the pictures).

Where is it?

The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly and you will find yourself easily drawn into walking down to the beach or to the local restaurants for casual or fine dining. An early morning walk at the beach will be filled with the sight of herons wading in tide pools. In the evening you can walk down to watch the sunset over the water and the Gulf Islands.

The city of Vancouver is a short drive or bus ride away as is the ferry to Victoria. We like to drive to the Park and Ride and take the bus into the city. Nearby the sea-side village of White Rock offers more shopping, dining, and recreational activities. The White Rock Recreation Services conducts inexpensive guided mountain day hikes at all levels for the outdoor enthusiasts. Winter time skiing is available on local mountains.
