Fully equipped house, well situated in Terrebonne, a suburban and secure hometown 20 minutes drive from downtown Montreal and the Laurentian region. Also near Ottawa and Quebec city (2h drive). Perfect for a couple, a small family with young children or teenagers or even a big family (we have 4 bedrooms). Nice intimate background with an underground pool and a large patio. We also have a car available for the exchange.

A une demi-heure de Montréal, village est agréable avec de bons restaurants et un petit marché le dimanche matin. Pas mal de commerces à proximité, avec la voiture, ainsi qu'un grand parc, pour les balades à pied ou en vélo. Tout c'est très bien passé, et tout était ok à notre retour à la maison. Échange vivement conseillé.”
“This exchange has it all! A beautiful user friendly house, pool, and garden, or yard as we say in the south! Julie was a delight to work with on planning this exchange. This was our first exchange in Canada. I loved riding around the beautiful countryside and visiting the small neighboring towns. I knew Montreal was a large city and envisioned the normal problems one encounters with parking etc. What a pleasant surprise when we easily found street parking in Old Montreal and were able to drive easily around the city. It is beautiful! We found the people very gracious and friendly. When we spoke English we were greeted with both French and English. There were no inconveniences with language barriers. There were also many English channels on TV. The wifi works great and we all know how important that is these days! We spent a lot of time at the amazing kitchen island and enjoyed the coffee maker! Thanks so much to the beautiful family who shared their home as well as a bit of their lives with us! This exchange is the best! Linda”
We are a non-smoker and very active married couple; Julie-Alexandra (40) and Steven (41). We have a 11 years old daughter (Anaée) and a 9 years old son (Isaac). Julie-Alexandra works as a nurse manager in an hospital and Steven works for the city of Montreal. We like hiking,cycling, watersports, diving and are both long distance runners and triathletes.
We would be interested in a house or appartment near the beach with a possible car exchange in the Caribbean, Europe or United states (Florida, nevada, Utah, california or East coast) for summer 2018 in august. Long weekend exchanges in NYC, Boston or Miami would also be possible. We experienced 5 amazing home exchanges (Mallorca, Spain in 2008, St-Marteen in 2012, Florida in 2013, st-Martin in 2014 and Guadeloupe in 2016) and are looking forward to repeat that experience.

We are situated in the city of Terrebonhe, a beautiful and quiet suburban city. There's a nice park with cycling/hicking trail near our house and all the stores and supermarket are 5 minutes drive. Close to all the shopping malls and stores either in Terrebonne, Laval, Rosemère or Montreal. Lots of golfing and skiing stations nearby in Laurentian or Lanaudiere regions.
Montreal city, is within 20 minutes drive. Montreal is an amazing and secure city, wellknown for the festivals (Jazz festival, francofolie, just for laughs...), nightlife, shopping and diversified fine cuisine. Laurentian region is 30 minutes drive for outdoor activities as skiing, mountain hiking, camping, waterslides...You can reach Mont-Tremblant(www.tremblant.ca) in one hour and half driving and Quebec or Ottawa in 2 hours drive.
