About our home

We have a family home in a beautiful neighbourhood in central Toronto. Our home is three stories with a master bedroom on the third floor. There is a small private living room on the third floor, with a walk out to a sunny deck. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one has a double bed and one has a single bed. The main floor has a living room, dinning room, and large eat in kitchen. We have a back yard that we have made into a patio. We have wireless, and a large screen TV with PVR. We are also prepared to exchange cars. We have a cat.

There is a sofa bed in the basement but it shares a room with the computer and TV.

We do not smoke, and only wish to exchange with persons prepared not to smoke inside our home.

Where is it?

Our home is in Riverdale - one of the nicest areas in the city. Its very central with public transit 2 minutes walk. We can email pictures. There are many good restaurants, and shops within an easy walk of our home. The beach is 10 minutes by car. Better beaches are on the Toronto Islands which must be accessed by ferry (20 minutes away). For the "best" beaches you need to travel north of Toronto at least 90 minutes. Best to go for one or two nights. We are close to all major sights in Toronto. Two families we have exchanged with have combined the visit with a stay in New York City. The city centre airport has many direct flights daily (there is also the cheaper but longer trip by bus).

Niagara Falls is 90 minutes by car (which is the border to the USA).
